Graco Room For Two Review

When I had my 2nd baby, my older 4-year-old son would throw fits. And it got worse when I bought my baby his very own stroller. My 4-year-old would climb his brother’s stroller and lie in it and ask me to push him around – which would also make my baby jealous – leading to screams and tears from both my kids.

I felt that I needed to find a solution to this problem and when I saw my neighbor pushing his kids with his tandem stroller, I knew I had to get one for mine.

I bought the exact same one as my neighbor’s which is this Graco RoomFor2. Answering my needs, my 4 year-old gets to ride at the back seat while his brother sleeps soundly in the front seat – giving me the peace of mind that I so look for.

If you want the very same peace of mind that I enjoy with this stroller, click here to find out where you can get one for yourself. If you want to know more about my own experience with this incredible tandem stroller, here is my short review:

Why I Like It

I love the fact that I can bring my 2 kids with me to the nearest store, to the park, as we walk to a neighbor’s party, to the zoo – and even the mall. My 4 year-old was so used to being the only child in the family that the addition of our little one just made him go berserk. He threw tantrums whenever I would give his brother more attention, or when we’d go to the mall and he’d have to walk ’cause I’d have to push his brother in his stroller.

Once this Graco RoomFor2 Classic stroller arrived, his tantrums have lessened and he actually enjoys riding with his little brother. My baby is now 6 months old and the child tray allows me to put snacks and drinks on it so he doesn’t get bored when we go to the supermarket. My 4-year-old loves standing up at the back seat ’cause it makes him feel like he’s having an adventure.

And I just love the parent’s tray – I get to drink coffee and put it down without spilling, and there are even spaces for my keys and wallet – which means I don’t have to bring a bag when we go to the park! This stroller has made my life so much easier and so much more enjoyable and my kids just love it!

What I Don’t Like About It

There’s only so little that I don’t like about this stroller. Though it’s not such a big deal, the basket is a little hard to access simply because it’s placed between the 2 seats. The easiest way I can access our things is through the sides. It would’ve been so much more convenient if I could access it through the front or the back.

And another issue that I have with this stroller is that when my baby is taking a nap and the front seat is fully reclined, it leaves very little space for my 4-year-old at the back.

Compared to Joovy Caboose Stand On

When doing my groceries, I chanced upon another mom who used a very similar-looking tandem stroller to my Graco. So I introduced myself and we started talking about the pros and cons of our strollers – which are almost exactly the same!

But one major factor makes the Graco a better option, in my opinion anyway. The Joovy stroller is very bulky and heavy. My new acquaintance complained about having difficulty lifting it up to throw in her trunk. And I also noticed that the Joovy doesn’t have a cup holder or organizer for parents – just a child tray. So in terms of convenience, my Graco definitely stands out.

The Bottom Line

Because this Graco RoomFor2 Stand and Ride Classic Connect Stroller has saved me from a ton of headaches, I will be the first to say that it’s probably one of the best choices for tandem strollers in its price range. It’s very affordable and answers so many problems if you have 2 young kids. It actually gave me a social life! So yeah, I really love it and I know you will, too.
